So before I begin this blog entry, and I really do apologize for my lack of updating. I'm sorry but honestly this is the coolest thing I've done so far since being here. I wanted to let everyone know that I just booked my ticket to Southeast Asia. That's right at the end of my contract plus one month (I know I'm crazy) Jillian, Dave and I will be heading to China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia! I'm so excited. I'll be gone for about 6 weeks and already have my return flight set for November 17th. If anyone would like to help the Help Ashley Survive in Southeast Asia fund I'd really appreciate it :-D.
Last weekend I went to Seokcho for some Beach Blanket Apocalypse party. Something someone we all know was throwing together. It actually wasn't that great. After a 7 hour car ride due to traffic we got there around 8pm. We had left beautiful sunny Seoul (for once it wasn't hazy) to go to cold rainy Seokcho. However Seokcho is also the home of Seorak Mountain. I thought I was going to be having a lazy, relaxing weekend on the beach. What I didn't realize is that I would be hiking and climbing all over rocks in flip flops. I obviously did not pack for the mountain. It was worth it though and it made me realize how much I love nature... when bugs aren't swarming around me.
I'm to lazy to organize these sorry! This was the water fall at the end of the hour hike we took. My camera died but I took pictures on my friends camera and hopefully those will be uploaded soon...

It was so cloudy that day. When we got to the top of the mountain we could see anything. We were literally in the clouds.
The cable cars going up into the mountains. They practically disappear into the clouds.
