School has been hard as I mentioned it was going to be. However, it's been alright. Since I constantly have class it makes the day go by very quickly but my voice takes a beating. Those little kids suck out your soul.
Dartmouth was so cute today though! I've taught them one other time but when I walked into the room they all yelled "Ashley Teacher!" Then Elizabeth, favorite, comes up and hugs me and tells me I look like a princess. I'm like you're a liar but very cute. I will always be in awe of how these kids love their teachers even though I feel like I'm one of the meaner ones. Like everyone tells me, they forgive easy.
I leave you with a drawing Diana, from my Read and Debate class, drew of me. It's the last class I have for the day Tuesday and Thursday. There's just two of them in there so we get through the stuff pretty quickly.
I don't know. I think I look like a South Park character. Harry, the other kid in my Read and Debate class, drew me as a panda. And no it wasn't a cute panda.

Awww. Except their compliments graciously. They do really love you. You know kids don't have that filter on them like adults where they learn to "sugar coat" everything that they are thinking.
Drink lots of orange juice for that cold. You can take B12 vitamins too. I'm sure they have something way better than chicken soup out there too!
School will get easier. You know it's just you against a whole possee of kids. You have to crack the whip at first and then you can be easier on them when they know you are the boss yanno?

That is a really good picture!! Especially since it was done by a kindergartener!!! It almost makes my stick figures obselete. I love how they draw their Asian eyes.
Hi Ashely! I hadn't read you blog in awhile, so I think I finally got caught up. You have been one busy young lady! The bugs look like something off of that show on the food network where the guy eats anything and everything in different countries. ick! Keep up the good work on the job, I know it can't be easy, but you knew that was going to be the case. I'll pray for Hominy. love, Annette
