Like the title says I got my confirmation number finally. I also, for the first time, got to read an email from the director at the school. I've been pretty lazy lately. I really don't want to have to get more information together to send it off to Chicago but I must. I'll do this on Sunday when I get back.
Oh yeah I'm going to Maryville for the weekend for my final goodbye. Well really I think only 2 people from there care that I am leaving but I figured it would be a good time none the less.
I'm seeing the new Batman movie tonight! All sorts of exciting. Other then that it's been pretty uneventful around here.

Waiting
Well they received my documents on July 7th and now I am waiting for them to process all of them and send me my E2 Visa confirmation number. After that I will send off another set of required documents to the Korean Embassy in Chicago which will take at least a week to process and get back. Then I wait for my ticket and then I'm off.
I officially put in my two weeks at Hy-Vee making my last day July 31st. I realize that that is a good 17+ days before I leave but I figured I'd give myself a nice long break before I jump into a new country and my first full time job ever.
Kim wants to throw me a going away party which will roughly be around August 16th since August 17th is my estimated departure date. Hopefully people will be able to make it. How depressing would it be to have a going away party and barely anyone show up.

0.35 lbs
Is how much all of my documents weighed when I mailed it off to South Korea. o.35 lbs equaled out of be $60.03. Plus the $1.87 I had to pay for some pictures and $0.43 I paid for copies. Estimated arrival date is July 7th.
In other news I have been Hy-vee's slave lately. Not only do I do customer service, which was what I was originally hired back for, I cashier, work in the deli, pay station, floral and gas station. I seriously feel that they should pay me more since I am trained in 6 different departments but like I'll get my way.
Speaking of pay, pay day is this Friday! I desperately need the money because I'm a super broke.
Oh and last of the randomness my friend Nina got engaged a couple of days ago. She wants to get married next September but also wants me to be a bridesmaid. I find this slightly impossible since I won't even be back in the States until late August. I won't have time to get a dress or help or anything. But hey I'm always up for a challenge.
Congrats Nina!

Cheongdam ECC
Well all sorts of officialness. I got the contract for the Cheongdam ECC branch of YBM. They say this branch is in a very "trendy" "fashion forward" district. Yes very much like me... that is sarcasm.
Anyways I have to get to work in 15 minutes so I will leave you all with the website to take a gander at it yourself. Ugh now I need to go get a new wardrobe.
Don't get me wrong though I am very excited! :)

I hate downtown Kansas City
Construction is awful here in Kansas City. Every single major highway is being worked on and all of downtown has road work being done as well. So getting my stupid police clearance apostilized sucked.
But I got it done! I have every single document needed to go to Korea! Amazing after all of this work I have everything that I need. I emailed the guy that I've been talking to and I'm hoping he will get back to me sometime today.
So close!

No Record of Convictions
Got my police clearance/background check. It was a pain in the butt because I had to have a "runner" who lives in Jeff City get it for me. To achieve this I had to give her my name, birth date and social security number. I realize all of these things are the recipe for identity theft but it was the only way I could get it fast enough.
Now I have to go to some place downtown and have the Secretary of the State sign it. I don't really understand how this works but whatever. But after that I'm all done and just have to send off all of my stuff to Korea or to the Korea embassy in Chicago so I'm not quite sure. I need to figure that out.
So my estimated leave date is mid August. It's coming up fast! I still have so much stuff to do.
